Hi, sorry for the late reply, was on the road...

Well what freestyle board is it, what fin came with it??

6.9 is a big sail, i would say it should work with 26cm but you have to get used to that...
If the 26 didn't work well for you, you should maybe go for 28 or 30 cm... a freemove fin should work for that kind of sailing.

What is your body weight? - if you go on 6.9 and 110 L in 5bft, you must be pretty heavy??

let me know
good winds

Hi Rossi

Thanks for reply
I'm heavy (but luckly through training and not eating and drinking) 90 kg and 180 long
Tabou freestyle. But I looked at the fin and it's 24cm.
So should I try also yhe 26 now before going bigger?

Thansk a lot

yes try the 26 before going bigger... 26 sounds good if 24 is a bit to small...

Are you going for jumping freestyle moves or more jibes, 360s and stuff?

if you go for jumping and sliding moves, a small fin is important, if you go for oldschool manoeuvres, non jumping, a bigger fin is usually better because you can excert more pressure onto it...

You know you really have to accept trade offs in freestyle - you can't really have super good sliding AND great upwind performance...

Let me know once you tried the 26cm fin.. you should feel the difference... if that's too small, ask somebody if you can borrow a bit bigger one and see what you prefer!

all the best
