Unfortunately we could not go to the Ventilo Show personally, because we are working hard on the Tricktionary DVD, but we sponsored some Tricktionary books for the participants of the different disciplines. It was a good week - with wind on 5 out of 8 days, although it was pretty wet, lot of rainshowers... Event Organizer Steve Palier told me, there were many kids and young windsurfers at the event. A very spectacular race was the "Grand Prix de l'Almanarre Voussert" which was held in 3 races with 2 of them in 25-40 knots of wind!!! Also Victor Fernandez and Marcilio Brown were there for a super session just in front of the test festival, where waves rised up to 1,5m with 30knots of wind which normally never happens at that spot. The Wavecontest of the following day was lead by Brawzinho, there were 20 guys registered with three 12 year old kids!! Steve already announced Ventilo Show 2009 will happen - we might be there wit the Tricktionary book and then hopefully also with the Tricktionary DVD. Here some photos from the event:
